MSGM has released this look at its Spring / Summer 2011 collection, a preppy-casual selection for the warm weather. Inspired by California and Hawaii in the 1970s, we can see bright patterns, floral prints and other surf inspired elements, touched up with upscale pieces like loose-knit cardigans and blazers.

Alexis Mabille goes on a gender bender with this floral Spring / Summer 2011 collection. Integrating bold makeup, and floral touches, Mabille capably creates a new, modern man’s collection. Though the floral flourishes on some of the items are too much for day-to-day, the subtle touches on the suiting and small pieces on the singlet create a collection evocative of spring, and bold in its cross-gender appeal. Consider adding one or two small touches to a bleak formal suit to give it some live and vivacity.
