Shop The Look

I love Alexander Mcqueen because his style is Avant Garde, fresh and youthful!

And for Halloween, I find this Tee Shirt very interesting and expensive.

Want to express some seasonal spirit but don’t feel comfortable stepping out in full costume? We recommend Alexander McQueen’s Marilyn skull T-shirt. The elegantly horrifying print hits an appropriately ghoulish note, but even better, you won’t need several hours to assemble a coordinating outfit. Some carefully drawn red lacquer lips and a powdered face—à la the makeup at McQueen’s brash Fall ‘09 show—is all it’ll take to look Halloween-party appropriate.

And Alexander Mcqueen will charge you $ 265. Woot Woot!

My Paranormal Activity

Halloween is just around the corner and what's the best way to welcome Freddy Kruger, Jason and the rest of the gang but to watch another Horror Film that can stimulate our fear hormones to its peak.
Paranormal Activity it is.

Waking up with a bad dream seems to be a prelude to this film experience. I downloaded the film thru limewire and after 1 whole day of waiting, finally I dare myself to watch it.

It gave me the feel of 1999's super blockbuster indie-film but released by Artisan, The Blair Witch Project. Though it broke my neck watching the film, it was enticingly a new theme and technique of film making, indie and reality-amateurish type. It worked right? many thought that the blair witch project really happened, only after the film was shown and millions of bitches watched it, then all news came that it is really a film, made to amuse and to earn bucks.

Oh well, another came in which made news and even won an award, Screamfest. Filmed in 2007 but released two years after but still maintained and surpassed its "screamabilty" to its audience.

The film tells a young couple suspects that their house is haunted by a malevolent entity. They set up video surveillance to capture evidence of what happens at night as they sleep. Their surveillance and home videos have been edited into the 99 minute feature film "Paranormal Activity".

The entire film was done in one week.

If I were you, don't watch it alone, I did and it scared the hell out of me...

Happy Halloween!

Ciao!

Time For Miracles

Time to ponder, time to realize what's missing or maybe what's important.

For many weeks now I have been so struggling about everything. About life, love and yes, everything.

Well for a start I was able to talk with my ex after almost one year and a half. Discussed all the stuff that happened to our relationship and why it withered. I'm partly at fault because I became so weak that I let my impulsiveness took over me instead of the good traits that I used to have.

It was such a good feeling to finally face my fear and talk to the person I dearly love and honestly I care deeply until now. I observed that many did change in our lives, the time we have been apart let us grow individually and I must say helped us achieve our goals and yet there is still space in our hearts that spells our name.

I know that to date, I a still ambivalent about many things, undecided, unsure of the things I want in life and that hurts me more. I always want the easy way out of everything,I am not thinking. And that really hurts me a lot. Maybe I am still immature. I AM!

I am afraid that because of this dubious trait, I will loose the very essential stuff that's important to my success in all aspect of my life.

Torned between love and life. I want to be free.

I am still stuck in this huge vacuum that's oblivion.

Missing the old me... I really wish that life shouldn't be complicated, that everything will be okay when we wake up. That all our mistakes and wrong doings can be easily erased and forgotten.

I wish that life can be like that... I am tired already...

But I am an optimistic person. I know I can surpass this feeling of emptiness.

I wish...

Uber loaded November Roster

Anticipating for my November schedule, disappointed or so-so? Well first, I was able to get our request flight for next month, a 9-day vacation to Singapore-Brisbane, staying in Singapore for 100 hours and in Australia for 50 hours and what's more exciting is that I'm flying with my buddy cum flatmate John and dear friend from far away land of Mussafah, Bianca with our cabin manager, Kingjai! Swaadeekrub!

I have Johannesburg and Cape Town flight, 1 turnaround flight to Pakistan, my refresher training for 4 days and viola!

I need a vacation really, to destress myself. Too much stress for the past months. Sigh!

Are You Scared?

I am a movie fanatic, horror and suspense-thriller flicks. And I am anticipating the next film of SAW, part VI and 2012 from the director of Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow.
Ciao

Is the end of the world really near? I don't know!

Can't wait to watch all of the horror and suspense-thriller flicks.

Lovin' Karl

Who doesn't love to eat Burger and Fries? But what excites me is this photo I saw few months back about Momma Karl L. and how it promotes obesity or being bulimic. Paolo Savi and Kayne West blogged this too!
Well, I wouldn't mind eating burgers and fries everyday as long as I see the beautiful Chanel cover on my table top.
Thank god I have Green Tea HP to keep me fit! ;)

Ciao

Twilight In Dublin

Almost 8 hours flight from the United Arab Emirates to Dublin, Ireland. My nth time to visit the home of the famous Irish Spring, Baileys, Guinness Beer, Lucky Clover leaf, The Leprechauns, U2 and Westlife.

Before, I was eager to swap this flight, thinking no Flip-crew, new hotel (Burlington not Arlington ok!) and maybe I'll get bored. To my surprise 3 other Filipino crew including our Captain were on the flight. And the rest of the crew, comprised of South Africans, Bri-ish, Aussie, Czechs,Zimbabwen, Morrocan & Swedish were all nice and warm. What more can I ask for?

Like my last flight, I had only 25 Euros this time so I packed my cooker, cornedbeef, SPAM, 2 bottles of water and white rice for emergency. A bit scared that customs will see that I brought too much to eat that they might inspect my suitcase for those stuff like in United Kingdom which by the way uber strict same with Australia and the USA. So I prayed while passing thru customs and immigration, hehehe, luckily, it was a smooth sail to the bus!

The rest of the crew decided to go out eventhough we have only few hours to sleep and rest. We walked and walked, eat and shopped, and still managed to take some photos, Ei!

Well, since I have an extra Euros to spend right? We dropped by the Penny's and I was lucky enough to find cheap thrills for my mom and my dear Sonia. Woot Woot!

So tired walking but managed to drag ourselves to the hotel, checked my Twitter and FB account then went straight to bed after cleaning and repacking my suitcase.

I love Dublin, people are uber kind and love to drink, sooooo much! Nonetheless, they are kind-hearted people. I can't wait for my next Dublin, but next time, I'll make sure its the long layover and I'll save some cash for a shopping spree, Stop me!

Ciao...

Coco Before Chanel

I have been anticipating this film and looking my heart out to find a dvd copy in the streets of Jakarta, Bangkok and Manila. However I am left with nothing in my hand because until now, it's not in sight.

I love Chanel, the name of course but I haven't own a bag yet or its haute couture and I will not shell thousand of dollars for one. However, I adore most of their homme perfumes such as Chanel Egoiste Platinum and Allure which I can afford.

And who can resist the talented and award winning French actress, Audrey Tautou which is the lady in waiting to win an Oscar for me after Marion Cotillard.

Coco Before Chanel is the story of Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, who began her life as headstrong orphan, and through an extraordinary journey became the legendary couturier who embodied the modern woman and became a timeless symbol of success, freedom and style. The film portrays the formative years of Chanel's life, the years of Chanel spent discovering and inventing herself.

Be Bold

I don't know why I'm really fascinated with mobile phones. Maybe because when I was a kid, I was deprived of many things and I was just instructed to study hard and be the best among the rest.

I guess those days were long over, Thank god!

And as soon as I saved money during college and earned my 1st paycheque, I will be the first one to have the latest model of either Nokia, Samsung, Iphone and now Blackberry. That's why if I could sum up all my mobile phones from 1998 to date, well honestly, I should have bought two decent sedan already, really! I can describe this bad habit as if I'm just changing clothes.

This is my first addiction, my second? well you know it already, yup, Louis Vuitton. Grrrrr!

And going back to my latest acquisiton, well it took me how many weeks to have my new toy, RECESSION remember! But...

Im loving my new BlackBerry Bold, they say that BB is the newest fad in town. And of course I want to experience the latest craze.

So far, I am loving the feel of it. I just hope that this will at least stay with me for a couple of months.

I hope so!

It's All Coming Back To Me Now...

Four months back I would say that I have no impurities on my face. It's not " modelesque "looking if there's a word but it's A okay. Until hell break loose! White heads, acne came out of the grave!

They say it's "stress " or maybe I ate too much PORK and cholesterol or put different viants for my face! Oh no!

I told myself that I am old enough to have this breakouts! If I'm 16 I would understand but I am hell not, though I wish! After my flight to Milan, spending my 3 days exploring the beautiful Venezia, Como, Verona, Bellagio and Milan, my face finally gave up and they came at the same time, 14 big, reddish pimples... AWWWW! I even put concelear coming back to Abu Dhabi so I knew that it will be infected! Oh well what to do ei!

So, finally, I consulted my dear friend, Dr. Ryan Kho Po and finally he made miracles to my face before i'ts too late.

So much pain while I'm doing the procedure, but as they say... Beauty is Pain hahaha! Though I'm crying the whole time, I know that my skin will be saved!

After almost 2 hours, we're done, my only concern that I am New York standby tomorrow morning, and with my face condition, I may be bumped off and might have grooming issue which I don't wanna have!

I am just praying and hoping that our crew control will be nice enough to switch my Standby to OFF. Please...

I will keep you posted if my face is getting any better... I will show you the photos and please bear with me, it's not a good sight to look at!
