Maria Venus Raj | For Miss Universe 2010

Though she's wearing recycled gowns from the outdated Binibining Pilipinas Charity closet, I hope that she can break the drought of the Philippines for winning the crown for Miss U.

I am surprised that there are hundreds of talented Filipino designers who can design Fierce, Classic, Gorgeous and Amazing Gowns, Day & Night wear for Venus for the Miss Universe 2010 competition but the BBPCI's opted to give her lousy and outdated outfits.

Many years ago after Miriam Quiambao I promised not to watch Binibining Pilipinas coronation again, for they are producing 80's look of representatives, not coping with the ever changing times of beauty pageants, and I did, I boycott every year's pageant. The contest is evolving from the Gloria Diaz look to Alicia Machado to Stefania Fernandez but still, we are stuck to the old-Stella Marquez-Araneta's standard. Obsolete

I am really sad that now that we have a very strong contender, I didn't see the full support of the organization, as usual, poor quality of gowns and dresses and old fashion style of hair and make-up! What's with that?

The Miss Universe contest does not only represent beautiful people from each countries but the country's heritage, culture and tradition as well. Everything will reflect and bounce back to its government and the institution.

Why always thank Madame Stella? For what, for letting you lose the opportunity to win the crown, for giving winners old dresses, getting sponsors from a cheap digital camera company and a cheap luggage set from Samsonite, for god's sake they can do better than that, get a sponsorship from Canon or Sony or even Rimowa for her luggages!

Wake up guys, the losing pattern will continue if we'll let an old system run this very beautiful country.

SMA resign!

Good luck Venus, may the blessings of gods and goddess be with you!

I LVoe!
