World's Most Powerful Luxury Brands

According to a study compiled by market research firm Millward Brown Optimor, the most valuable brand is Louis Vuitton with a brand value of $19.8 billion.
Hermes, with a brand value of $8.45 billion, landed in the second spot, followed by Gucci ($7.58 billion), Chanel ($5.54 billion) and Hennessy ($5.36 billion).
Brands that focused on heritage and history instead of high fashion did better.

Louis Vuitton’s travel campaign, Gucci’s appraisal partnership with Christie’s and Hermès’ sponsorship of a horse competition in Paris served them well.

Ferrari World Theme Park In Abu Dhabi

I am so happy we're based in Abu Dhabi!

As you probably know the Italian supercar maker has entered the entertainment business by building the Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhabi.
Among the twenty or so rides and attractions featured at the park will be the GT roller coaster and this here is the first photograph of the car.
Each coaster vehicle in this particular ride is a replica of a Ferrari F430 Spider that can seat up to four people.

According to Ferrari, the GT Racing Coaster will send two competing roller coaster carriages dashing along twisting parallel tracks on a race to the finish line.
Apart from this, there will also be an F1 ride which is said to be world’s fastest roller coaster travelling at speeds in excess of 200 km/h.

The theme park is being built on over 135 acres of land and is scheduled to open in the second half of the 2010 in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is on the 14th of November and it will be the last race of this year’s 19-round F1 championship, and Ferrari World should be open by then.

So Proud!

For LVoe Of Bag: Chanel Coco Cocoon Handbag

Chanel has released the new ad campaign for its Coco Cocoon handbag range, starring French actress Vanessa Paradis.
Paradis, one of the brand’s ‘favorites,’ previously starred in Chanel’s commercials for the Coco fragrance in 1992 and Ligne Cambon handbags in 2004, and succeeds singer Lily Allen in the Coco Cocoon ads.
Chanel choosing Paradis is one of the few examples of luxe brands going for celebrities instead of models to represent their products this season
In Manila, I saw Cecil of Chuvaness having coco cocoon collection...

LVoe Is Free

For some maybe but for the rest, it comes with a price! Like the Moschino Store ATM widow display in their Meatpacking district location.

The mannequin, sporting a Moschino dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, waits for love, but gets money instead.
The machine continuously dispenses cash, to the point that the “woman” is literally getting buried under a pile of money while the ATM says, “love is free”
