If I Were A Boy...

There are times when you think or hope that things were different, that maybe you are a different person, in a different situation in life or in a totally different perspective. I did thought of that and many times & I was hurt trying to be different... then I realized...

" That God has given as the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can & wisdom to know the difference! "

And you will be happy... and free!

If I were a boy

Even just for a day
I’d roll outta bed in the morning
And throw on what I wanted then go
Drink beer with the guys
And chase after girls
I’d kick it with who I wated
And I’d never get confronted for it.
Cause they’d stick up for me.

If I were a boy
I think I could understand
How it feels to love a girl
I swear I’d be a better man.
I’d listen to her
Cause I know how it hurts
When you lose the one you wanted
Cause he’s taken you for granted
And everything you had got destroyed

If I were a boy
I could turn off my phone
Tell evveryone it’s broken
So they’d think that I was sleepin’ alone
I’d put myself first
And make the rules as I go
Cause I know that she’d be faithful
Waitin’ for me to come home (to come home)

It’s a little too late for you to come back
Say its just a mistake
Think I’d forgive you like that
If you thought I would wait for you
You thought wrong

But you’re just a boy
You don’t understand
Yeah you don’t understand
How it feels to love a girl someday
You wish you were a better man
You don’t listen to her
You don’t care how it hurts
Until you lose the one you wanted
Cause you’ve taken her for granted
And everything you have got destroyed
But you’re just a boy

Of Shopping Bags and More...

I was able to force myself to go to the Mall of the Emirates (Where I used to go on a regular off days when I'm still based in Dubai) after how many months now. One good thing about MOE is that it is huge, meaning more shops to choose from right?

After having a big meal of Baby Back Ribs at Friday's which by the way not fun eating at all because I think it's already old! I enjoyed a bit in H&M though most of the clothes remaining on SALE are leftovers already since it started the sale last January 15. For ladies? well it's heaven, many items are still waiting for all of you! Yet, I was still able to find good buys.

I went to JUMBO electronics and finally I saw the SONY VAIO P I was aiming to have as my 2nd laptop. The prices ranges from 3,400++ DHS for the 60GB HD and 4,400++ DHS for the 120 GB memory, I was amazed by the designed and the "minuteness" of it! It is pretty lighter than a Harry Potter book packed with heavy softwares but it took me minutes to navigate the rotating mouse ball in the middle of letters G,B & H.

For aesthetics, I rate it 5 out of 5 but will I buy it...The answer is NO.

Not for me! I find the full keyboard too small and the rotating mouse ball to difficult to manage, or I'm just used with MAC. I may go for ACER or the HP MINI 1000 MI edition, just for web browsing and traveling. I also saw the HP MINI special edition of VIVIENNE TAM and it soooo... "panget!" (ugly!) not because it's red because it's so plastic-looking and not polishly made.

Until then...

SUSPENDED...

Michael Phelps that is.. He has been suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming, the latest fallout from a photo that showed the Olympic great inhaling from a “bong,” a water pipe typically used to smoke marijuana.

The sport's national governing body also cut off its financial support to Phelps for the same three-month period, effective yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kellogg Co. said it will drop its endorsement deal with Phelps in connection with the incident.

Most of his major sponsors, including Visa, Speedo, luxury Swiss watchmaker Omega and sports beverage PureSport's maker Human Performance Labs, stood by the athlete after the news, even if they didn't condone his behavior.

Well, we have seen many great athletes fell into the ground with their feet cold including Randy Barnes and Dennis Mitchell. In good faith, I hope that Michael can put his groove back over this controversial issue about doping.

We are only human and most of the time commits mistakes and since he is a public figure and a role model, all eyes are on him...

Finally, I-Phone In UAE After 2 Years...Crazy!

As the song "The Long and winding road"...I-Phone will finally hit the United Arab Emirates after 2 fucking years of waiting!

And ETISALAT got the deal! Whew!

And oh for goodness sake, Apple just announced that the new iPhone generation will be launched by June 2009 and I hope we get it over with.
A few careless words by the iPhone program director for United Arab Emirates telco Etisalat may point to an all-new iPhone handset being released in the 2nd quarter. Or not?

Speaking with Dow Jones about Etisalat’s plans to roll out the iPhone 3G, Mark Davis said that the, “next version of the device, which is due out in June, will be launched in the UAE at the same time.”

iPhone Nano rumours have been flying around like seagulls at the world breadcrumb dropping championships since just before this years MacWorld, with numerous ‘leaks’ and difficult to verify 3rd-party mentions popping up and being denied or ignored by Apple.

In some ways this latest one is not too much of a surprise - Apple’s marketing chief Phil Schiller has recently spoken of a yearly cycle for new iPhone models, ending around June. St
ill, it is nice to get another piece of the puzzle in place.

I can still remember my first unlocked I-Phone bought last May of 2007. The feeling of having it first in Dubai was paramount. Everyone was asking, is that the "Apple" no! it's T.H.E I-Phone!

Some Good Things Never Last...

Some good things never last...

For Metro Him Magazine (Philippines) that is as it seized its publication recently, so if you are thinking of looking for the next fashion look or date tips this Valentines, you will never see it in the news stand.

However, a new Men's fashion magazine emerges, GARAGE - - - the ultimate style guide for guys. A new hip and trendy men's magazine in the Philippines. I was able to get the DEC-JAN issue, Geof Eigemmann on the cover and I will say that every page is worth your money. From what to wear and not, to date guides do's and dont's, latest gadgets and gizmos and many more.

As they say, if one door closes another window will open. So it's not a sad ending after all for all you Metrosexuals... Bwahahaha! If there's such a word!

Thoughts and more...

" The worst way to miss someone is
to be sitting right beside them
knowing you can't have them. "
