Turning Japanese

It's my first time in Tokyo and I'm definitely LVoeing it! There's an enchanting feeling of closeness and freedom. Freedom of speech and freedom to wear anything and everything you like or LVoe or hate.

When I arrived in Narita, a southern suburb, I think! It's like I'm in a deserted forest but in a nice way, maybe the Bamboo makes the ambiance relaxing and "spa" like.

The regular train ride took us forever, but when we reach the last station, hmmm I think after less than two hours, I smell authentic Japanese fashion, sake and Tempura.

I LVoe Tokyo that I want to spend my lifetime earnings there, no bluffing but in reality, its like I'm warped in a different time zone or era.

The chaotic yet serene city of Tokyo kept me wanting to see the rest of Japan more, I guess. Here are some shots I took with my sister, KC who's based in Tokyo.

At the original Yoshinoya,at Ginza Street,  the XL Beef Bowl Set is only 680 Yen, Cheap but Oishi!!! (delicious)

At the newly opened G.U at GINZA Street, sister company of UNIQLO, I was dead crazy about the shirts, socks and more, cheaper than UNIQLO but same, great quality. BTW you need to queue to get in...

I knew it! SADAKO is alive and she's transforming now, RUNNNNN!

 

When there's a queue, it must be good or you're just stupid to follow them!

 

MEIJI is pure LVoe! It can take away your sadness! Promise!

Though Jennifer Lopez haven't hit the jackpot in terms of a blockbuster Hollywood film for years now, she's definitely making huge waves in TV. With her American Idol season 11 hit and a reality show with ex-beau Marc Anthony, she will be forever my LVoe.

Another Year | Forever Young | 3 Five

It's really funny when you're always turning a year older... you can't help yourself to feel attached with your previous AGE, well for me, I am living the life I really wanted, though not exactly the way I wanted but I am LVoeing it!

Last minute they wanted to celebrate our birthdays, my dear friend Joseph and myself, I was not feeling well at that time but the photos looks I'm not.

With good friends, celebrating great years ahead of us! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me and JOSEPH!

Magnum Sucks!

Forgive me but MAGNUM is just a FAD! Oh, I'm not saying that its not delicious, but it didn't live up to what I'm expecting it to be.

The advertisement is HUGE, with big stars endorsers and full coverage about it, a big buzz really... I don't have twitter anymore so I only see this Magnum stuff in Facebook, friends posting photos of it and I was like what the f*** I need to try this...


So my friends and I flew to Frankfurt two days back and gosh, the price is insane, according to Margaux and Bianca, in Manila, its only 50 Pesos, around $ 1.20 but in Europe, its 3.90 for a Magnum classic and Gold, Fudge me!

So my expectation is really over the top for me, we were like teasing each other that if we buy this product, SELECTA and its Ad agency wins, we know already that this is just a big whatever but were stupid, we tried it! 

I was looking for that special moment that I will pause for a while and savor the spectacular flavor, like tasting the original Belgian Waffle and Mussels in Brussels, the real gelato in Milan, High Tea in London and Chicken Biryani in Bombay (opps!) disregard the latter part. Anyway! It failed!!! Big time! After finishing the bar, I said to them, that's it????What the.... 

We're right!!! there's nothing outrageously great about Magnum! I didn't feel anything special! I'd rather have Ben & Jerry's or Coldstone!


So sorry but this is what we felt after tasting several flavors, nonetheless, I salute the creator of this fuzz for making it successful and profitable.


But I will not recommend this at all!
