Time Off!
Finally, its my off again after working for 7 days straight. First time to visit the mall. SALE is over thank god, only in Abu Dhabi because in Dubai, grrrr, its Dubai Shopping Festival.

iPhone 4G Coming Soon, Too?
When iPhone hits the gulf region year 2006, I patiently waited to have it, went to some Indian friends in the black market and finally got it for a hefty price of almost $1100. Was it worth it? Yeah! Cuz I saw their eyes looking like kids who wanted my Lollipop!
All about iPhone is great except for some stuff that''s bearable. But now, rumours of Apple Tablet on the 27th of January which is what? 2 days from now all will be revealed.
I''m really ecstatic about the new iPhone 4G if its true. We''ll see!

Too Much In Mind. I'll Just Munch!
Nothing much to do so I blog stuff that I see that interests me. But since I have too much in mind. I decided to stop for a while and munch Uncle Wally's Rich and Moist Banana nut muffin from New York, courtesy of John.
Well, this is my first time to taste UW's muffin and it's mouthwatering, delicious and I can't stop but eat everything, and didn't I tell you, it's hmmm. read nutrition facts below; =p
So, who's Uncle Wally?
Founded in 1995 by Wally "Famous" Amos and Louis Avignone, Uncle Wally's is the #1 branded in-store bakery muffin and one of the top muffin manufacturers in the U.S.
The company's roots date back to 1992 when Amos started a new cookie company he called Uncle Noname when he sold the Famous Amos Chocolate Cookie Company.
Lou Avignone, a Famous Amos distributor at the time, heard Amos on a local radio talk show. Inspired by Amos' story of his early business success with Famous Amos and his indomitable spirit, Avignone contacted him with the idea for starting a new business. In 1994, the two became partners and subsequently launched Uncle Noname Gourmet Muffins. With America's tastes shifting towards healthier foods, the company focused on fat-free, nutritious muffins at that time. Uncle Noname ultimately became Uncle Wally's Muffin Company in 1999.
During its first five years of operation, Uncle Wally's concentrated on growing the core muffin business and in developing strong relationships with customers, which include A&P, King Kullen, Pathmark, Winn Dixie, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and Costco. Overall, the grocery channel comprises more than 50 percent of the company's sales, with the balance of sales from the club store sector of the market. A new 43,000 square foot, state-of-the-art bakery was built and opened in the later part of 2001. The company projects sales for 2003 through 2005 to grow in excess of 35% per annum.
Uncle Wally's manufactures a broad selection of nutritious gourmet and homestyle muffins in fat-free, sugar-free, all natural and soy protein varieties that have won numerous awards for quality and great taste. The muffins are sold in more than 3,500 stores nationwide.

New York's Finest Now In Dubai
Yahoo. Finally, You guys who loves Dean & Deluca can just drive to Dubai and savor New York's finest. No need to request for New York to get the finest kitchen and gourmet stuff. And the most important, their tote bags... Yahoo!
When Dean & DeLuca first hit the New York market in 1977, it was a culinary tour de force, a fact not known to many Dubai residents, but known quite acutely to legions of New York foodies. Owners Joel Dean and Giorgio DeLuca were among the first to introduce balsamic vinegar to Manhattan, or, for that matter, sun dried tomatoes and gourmet salads, or at least they were the first to bring it to the masses. A visit to the SoHo flagship store any time of day would reveal a food market and café packed to the gills with customers squeezing exotic fruits and sniffing line caught fish. Such, alas, is not the case with the chain’s first Dubai outpost, situated in the semi-new Souk al Bahar in the Old Town Island.
Below Tote Bags are amazing and cheap, ranging from $6 up to $40. You can use it as grocery bag, picnic bag or just bring around when you're up for shopping or just going out with friends and be simple yet classy. hahaha!

Bullock.Bridges.Basterds For SAG Awards
The Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) was finally over and fellow actors and directors voted for their favorite film and actors for this year nominations.
Quentin's Inglourious Basterds won the best picture giving the film's chance for an Oscar's prize for best movie on March 07.
The SAG Awards are seen as a bellwether of likely winners at the academy awards.
For the past two years, the winner of the SAG Awards best ensemble statuette has gone on to win best picture at the Oscars, with Slumdog Millionaire triumphing in 2009 and No Country For Old Men prevailing in 2008.
I'm now having my high hopes for Sandra Bullock for a sweep win on this year's Best Actress Award in her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side, the true story of how the southern housewife took in homeless black teen Michael Oher, who went on to become an American football star.
"If only this were not televised so I could use the appropriate words I'm feeling right now," Bullock, 45, said in her acceptance speech, which included a heartfelt tribute to her husband of five years, Jesse James.
"You get dressed up in monkey suits and sit at tables with people you don't know," Bullock said. "I love you so much and you're really hot and I want you so much."
Other nominees in the category included Helen Mirren for The Last Station, Carey Mulligan for An Education, Gabourey Sidibe for Precious, and Meryl Streep for Julie & Julia.
And the Best Actor went to veteran actor Jeff Bridges on the film Crazy Heart. Bridges, 60, who has largely been bypassed for large awards, won for his portrayal of a washed-up country singer battling to rebuild his career in Crazy Heart.
"This means so much to be acknowledged by my acting family," Bridges said. "It's like a big family, playing advanced version of pretend. I love being an actor, pretending to be other folks."
Mo'Nique won as Best Supporting Actress for the film "Precious" and the Austrian actor Christoph Waltz followed up his success at the Golden Globes to underscore his status as an Oscars favourite.
Waltz won for his performance as a deranged Nazi officer in Inglourious Basterds.
I'm really crossing my fingers that Sandra will get the nod for Oscars. Ohh well, let's give kudos to AVATAR and James Cameron too!
