The film franchise started to reinvent horror films by injecting high profile actors being snatched during the opening of the film. This also launched and reignited movie careers of Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Skeet Ulrich, David Arquette, Jamie Kennedy, Rose Mcgowan & Matthew Lillard.
