Meeting Marietta Subong

It was a full flight going to Abu Dhabi. 28 guests in Business class and 384 in Economy. Not your ordinary 423 flight, passengers were mostly immigrants from various European and North American countries, a challenging flight but compared to subcontinent flights, this is much more easier to handle.

Just last week, my first celebrity passenger, character actor Ricky Davao graced our premium zone, he was very happy, but of course he was upgraded from couch to business. Then going to Munich? well, we did our best, we gave his ticket number, real name and flight number to fellow "kabayans" for you know what.

Going back to my story, there she was! seated at 12K, my favorite host and comedian, Marietta Subong aka "Pokwang".

 Like many other comedians, she is serious, very quiet, maybe too tired from her daily routines, Wowowee, hosting stints and shooting. She slept the whole 9 hours flight but lucky me, before she put her eyes to rest, I grabbed my BlackBerry and viola! The FAN in me came out!

Am I starstrucked? YES!

I am happy to see two GUCCIs in her, a handbag and a trolley worth...tooot! don't ask anymore, too much!

Nonetheless, she was accommodating! She didn't eat at all, only coffee before landing. Good girl!

Well, I'm looking forward to see more celebrities... Hollywood celebrities, better!
