I welcome 2010 with an outlook that's pure of hope, faith and prayers that it will be a good year for me. Though according to the chinese horoscope, the year of the tiger for snakes will be a little too complicated and not a smooth ride. Grrrr! I'm optimistic! I believe that everything will just turn out fine!

Here are some events that happened from New Year till today.


Forecast for 2010



The Snake likes to make slow and steady progress and the Year of the Tiger will find him swept along with unexpected developments – they need to adapt and keep up the pace. On the career front, the Snake will have quite a bit of competition and needs to stay ahead of the game in order to be in line for any promotions or career advancement opportunities. He needs to seek advice from those who can help and not appear too independent – working with colleagues will pay off handsomely during the year. Money management will be crucial during the Year of the Tiger and with careful planning, they should have little to worry about. Time spent with loved ones, either on a well-earned holiday or at home, will rejuvenate the Snake’s spirit during a busy and intense year. February through April will favor work endeavors and promotion. July through December will offer many opportunies for single Snakes to meet a special romantic partner. Travel looks most likely during March and June through August, with fun and romance well starred. Snakes can be shy and loners, but the Year of the Tiger will ensure they have many happy social events to attend.

Predictions said that for this year, Aries/Ram/Snake needs to be extra cautious because this is not our year. Well, according to Zenaida Seva- Ong, famous astrologer in the Philippines, We still have the power to change our destiny, horoscope is just a guide! I believe!


Concert of Rihanna was a blast, jam-packed! at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. Fireworks display was spectacular... 10 Million Dirhams, gone in less than 10 minutes (JK). Spare some millions to me!

My first flight for 2010, Muscat, Oman, Cabin Manager Orsi from Hungary, joined few months behind me, now Cabin Manager! Good for her, she's pretty and nice, hope she'll maintain that attituted. Delayed flight due to L2 door inop! and its a new Airbus 320, but mind you, the aircraft is beautiful! New inflight entertainment system, fresh smell but for how long, few more flights to the sub-continent and viola, it will be like the old aircrafts we have. (JK)

Got a message yesterday that ZARA will have S A L E today! And I didn't reserve a single item, why.. Shhhhh! Time for a cool change! But for the rest, YALLAH go now and spend your hard earn money there, up to 65% discount. We visited Marina Mall and it was crowded, guys were shopping like crazy! ... Stop me!

And another sad news for me, my favorite housemate to be on top 4 for Pinoy Big Brother was evicted moments ago. Rica got only 10% + votes versus Paul Jake of 12%+, actually for this week nominees, none of them was worthy to be evicted, Sam, PJ, Yohan and Rica, all were contributors in making the house fun, lively and worth watching! And since Rica went out! I'm not sure if I will have the strength to watch PBB, hmm...Too many eye-candies remaining!

I'll surely miss her in the big brother house!

Stupid or Abusive Drivers? B E W A R E

Are you a Defensive or an Abusive Driver?

Do you follow traffic rules? Parking rules? or just any rules? Hmmm! Me? Uhmm! Most of the time! Gotcha!

In Abu Dhabi, most of the drivers are either stupid, dumb or just careless! You can find here the most expensive cars you can ever imagine, either parked in a gutter or just around the corner! No worries! (Mafi Mushkilah! in Arabic) But since parking is the main problem here, cars are parked everywhere!

But never worry because police are there in most of the populated area ready to issue parking penalties for the offenders! Traffic and parking violations doesn't come cheap here!

If you don't pay, well, be ready for your license to be revoked or not renewed at all!

Radars are everywhere but still, many locals and some ignorant expats drives so fast they forget their humans!

So, as I was browsing kaboodle, I stumbled upon this great invention, printing your own Parking/Traffic violations tickets! Now you can have your own sweet revenge to the driver who cuts you while turning left or right or intentionally parked on your space. Let them know how you feel by putting the personalized parking tickets.

I may consider printing a couple. Just for fun! Why not!

Shout outs like: You stole my parking space, Your tail lights are busted! , Bad Driver!, Can You Read Traffic Signs? You drive too fast, don't you think? or SLOW DOWN PLEASE! and more. Use your creativity to let the A**h***s knows that they offended you! Ha Ha Ha

In Manila, try not to engange in traffic misunderstandings, most of them sacrificed their lives because most of the stupid and crazy drivers put the law in their own hands. For what, parking issues? Grrrrr

So this is a sweet revenge, besides, they will never know you're the one who put it right? Shhhhhhh! Just print any languages that will suit you! Moi? Arabic, English, Urdu, Hindi and Tagalog! Ha Ha Ha Ha

Apparently, the website; Facebook is experiencing site blockage in Abu Dhabi or perhaps the whole Emirates for reasons I am not sure of. Or maybe " access to the site falls under the Prohibited Content Categories of the UAE's Internet Access Management Policy. "

2010 : A Prosperous New Year Ahead!

In approximately 3 hours from now, GMT + 08. Manila time, my family and friends will be celebrating 2010 with a bang!

As for me, I'm doing it the "Celine Dion way" ala "All by myself!" not bad ei! I wish!

I haven't spend many new years and christmas with my family. I consider myself as a family oriented person however, for the past years, it seems that I share less and less time with my loved ones. I'm bad! And I know how my family misses me! I can feel it!

I always have new year's resolution, were I list all my wishes to change what's the wrong things I've done last 2009 and correct it this 2010.

With courage and positivity, In god's will! I can manage to rearrange my life again.

Simple living yet stylish 2010 for me!

1.     I will try to SAVE again!

2.     Wait for DSF/GITEX sale or season's sale before buying stuff

3.     Think a dozen times before buying something, " Do I need it, or I just want it, questions! "

4.     Try to read educational stuff or learn new language " arabic or hindi (just kidding!) 

5.     Try to visit my family often

6.     Start going to the gym

7.     Watch my diet

8.     To finish paying the plastic evil cards (grrrrr!)

9.     Career enhancement

10.   Hear Mass.

Courage is the name of the game. And I will play these wishes with determination. So I can at least accomplish half of it!

Beer Please

After driving for almost 4 hours, I think I need a beer-break!

Whew! Got my boarding pass printed, 41C and I may pass out as soon as I board the aircraft.

My feet hurts... Foot massage and spa please! As if I'm in the new first diamond class of my company. I can't afford $16,000 ticket fare for it! I can buy soooooo much for that return ticket to New York-Abu Dhabi!

Well, so much for my day dreaming, time to freshen up and head back to the airport!
