They say that its easy to distinguish Filipinos from other Asians, hmmm, like what, Loves pork, rice, feel-good movies, scary movies, beauty pageants, boxing, ghost stories, chicken adobo and KARAOKE and singing their hearts out!
Well, I think its part of our culture, I mean, singing, eventhough not all Filipinos are good singers, we just LVoe to sing!
But everytime American Idol open its new season, I am wishing and praying there's Filipino-American that will compete. And for its 11th season, one Filipina, emerged, Jessica Sanchez, she's only 16 years old but a pro already with talent competitions, from showtime at Apollo, America's Got Talent to American Idol, she's part of the Top 24 and in a few hours, the Top 12 will be announced.
Her rendition of Dreamgirls, I do... Randy, Jennifer and Steve gave her a standing ovation. I'm beginning to LVoe her, she has a strong and powerful vocals like Jennifer Hudson.
Just one thing, Who's Jessica's stylist, honestly, she's just 16 so dress her like one not too trashy please, she has a sweet face, let it loose, in a good way! Her hair, earrings, clothes choices is way off honestly! But goodluck to you Jessica, We LVoe you!
Let's crossed our fingers, KUDOS Jessica.... You made me proud!

It's really sad to see another precious gem sinks in the deep sea. Another girl was sacked in last night episode of American Idol Season 10.
She is... PIA TOSCANO. Well she's a total package! good looks, great personality and image and has a big voice and fit to become the next American Idol.
But how come she was cut so early?
However she's not saved by the American viewers last night. And the judges, like the uber crying Jennifer Lopes can't do anything by giving their votes to the hairy-chubby-teddy bear looking Casey who will end up like Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks.
So for me, no more American Idol, if not only for JLO and Ryan Seacrest....
But Pia, don't stop believing, look at Academy Award winner, Jennifer Hudson, she was eliminated early too... There's HOPE.

Well, I'm a bit disappointed that Filipino-American Thia Megia together with exotic, African-American Naima were eliminated last night instead of Paul Mcdonald on American Idol Season 10.
I'm not hoping that Thia will win the title but I was hoping that she'll stay a little bit longer.
This season is one hell of season, all finalists are great and has a potential to become big stars but come on, there's nothing new, there's Pia who's pretty, high pitched and can sing anything, but for me its all the same, nobody stands out because all are, SAME-SAME as Thai's always say to Tourists.
But on a serious note, I wish Thia and Naima all the best.

It's LEE DeWyze!
We'll I didn't expect it to be him, I was hoping and positive that it will be Crystal, but like what they say, you can't expect anything from American voters right? They chose him over Crystal who got excellent critics from the judges, I find Lee's performance as mediocre, I wish I have the authority to give comments like Simon.
At least there's a reason to watch the finale of American Idol yesterday, its the send off episode of Simon Cowell too, he will transfer to America's Got Talent! next season .Hmmm...
Until then, if there will be another season of American Idol.
They should find a replacement as tough as Simon!
