The New Superman | Man Of Steel | Henry Cavill

It's official, the new movie of Superman, entitled the MAN OF STEEL, will be out on June 2013, a long way for us to wait.

And there's a new guy to wear the newly revamped costume, its more darker with mutantly look blue suit and his embossed Superman logo with a longer cape to top up the look.

It will be Birtish actor, famous for his role in Tudor and you can see him on the upcoming film, Immortals, 29  year old, HENRY CAVILL.

Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank

Well, Well, Well, another award-winning film from the recently concluded Cinemalaya 2011 where my favorite actress, Eugene Domingo takes the lead. Ang Babae sa Septic Tank is.... I have no idea, before when I heard of it, I thought, WT....another indie film that tackles nudity or sex, maybe.

I was damn wrong! Ang Babae sa Septic tank is a comedy about misguided ambitions, the art of making art and the romanticization of poverty. (autoplagiarist)

We SAW 3D

I started my day yesterday with lots of errands to finish, I went to our uniform store to replace my trolley for a new one but ended up getting a used | returned bag, the tailor did some measurements for my suit, trouser and shirts, apparently, the smallest issued uniform isn't the smallest at all, so they will do some alterations and will take 2 weeks for me to get it.

I lost my house keys! Went to Al Jazeera, paid my bills to Barclays and meet Joseph in his flat. He was still talking to his partner so I decided to smoke a bit then cooked brunch, hotdogs, cornedbeef, beef noodles and steam rice, fattening!

My dear friend and batchmate Isa went for an hour to chitchat, Nikolay too! I was really thirsty for alcohol but most of my closest friends were 35,000 feet away,serving one, Grrr! I almost spent the whole day at Joseph's flat, Jane came for the contract copy of the condominium unit that Joseph just bought at Azure then we decided to get going, I felt bad that my partner will go for a 7 hour drive from San Franciso to Los Angeles with cousins.

I LVoe Jane's Peugeot convertible! Went straight to Abu Dhabi Mall, browsed new collection at Zara then checked the movies.  SAW 3D is showing but we paid almost $13, the price of a ticket here is sooo insane, its like watching it in Chicago and Toronto, but with so many cuts!

We LVoe it though!

It's bloody, messy and horrific!

Were thankful we didn't vomit & Jane still have the energy to do her grocery and it took us 2 hours to finish her stuff! (sigh) But it was fun buying stuff and chatting with your partner!

After a long day, Jane dropped me home and I'm very thankful that John was still there, I will not be homeless since he have keys!I was surprised no booze for yesterday and were all off!

I LVoe my job! Thank you lord!

SCREAM 4

I literally grew old with movies, Horror flick to be exact from Nightmare on Elms St., Friday the 13th, Halloween, Night of the living dead and more, that's why I am scared enough to watch another one! But since SCREAM 4 will be coming our way on April 2011, I can't wait to watch the reunion of the surviving casts of the classic cult film, SCREAM, it's been 15 years since the SCREAM franchise marked its way in 1996.

Neve Campbell will be reprising her role as Sidney, Courtney Cox as Gale Weathers-Riley and David Arquette as Sheriff Dewey Riley.

There are no major stars being slashed on this film like  Drew Barrymore, Jenny Mcarthy & Jada Pinkett-Smith but there are interesting casts added like Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell & Anna Paquin.

Kudos to Wes Craven....

So who will be the killer this time, I have a hint already!

Inception Or Deception?

INCEPTION : The beginning of something, such as an undertaking; a commencement. That's what WIKIPEDIA told me. 


But Am I the only one who didn't get it?


For the record, I wanted to surrender to this dream; I didn’t want to be out in the cold, alone. But I truly have no idea why so many people are raving about this film. It’s as if someone went into their heads while they were sleeping and planted the idea that Inception is a visionary masterpiece! 


I think I get it. The movie is a metaphor for the power of delusional hype—a metaphor for itself.


Inception is full of brontosaurean effects, like the city that folds over on top of itself, zero-gravity scenes and more, but the tone is so solemn I felt out of line even cracking a smile. It lacks the nimbleness of Spielberg’s Minority Report or the Jungian-carnival bravado of Joseph Ruben’s Dreamscape or the eerily clean lines and stylized black-suited baddies of The Matrix—or, the film What Dreams May Come, for that matter, the off-kilter intensity of Nolan’s own Insomnia. The attackers in Inception are anonymous, the tone is flat and impersonal. Nolan is too literal-minded, too caught up in ticktock logistics, to make a great, untethered dream movie.

The visual effects is perfect and Leo and Marion too! but if not for them, I may just have to wait for the film to be released in DVD. I personally didn't like the film.

עיניים פקוחות‎ Eyes Wide Open

I am currently watching עיניים פקוחות‎, or Eyes Wide Open, an Israeli film shown last year and earned so many criticism good and no so good of course because of its sensitivity about religion, belief, forbidden LVoe and more. 


It was shown at the Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. The acclaimed film is written and directed by Merav Doster and stars, Zohar Strauss and Ran Danker.


It is sizzling hot, provocative and realistically insane!

Eclipse On The 30th June

I remember that exactly 7 months ago, Twilight's New Moon was shown all over the world, and since Abu Dhabi is the best place if you want to see a shorter version of the film because of its censorship then don't watch it here! I decided to watch it in the fareast when we had our Singapore-Brisbane flight in Brisbane's Cineplex.

I was enthralled! I LVoe it, and in a few days time, we'll have our flight back to Singapore and Brisbane! And Eclipse, here I come!

For LVoe Of Movies: Flight Of The Living Dead

Me and Dinara (from Uzbekiztan) were talking about scary movies during our flight back to Abu Dhabi from Kuala Lumpur. She told me about Paranormal Activity and the two alternate endings, and how scared she was that time, then I asked her if she was able to watch this film about a plane full of zombies. Plane Dead aka Flight of the living dead!


She said, Niet! or No! So I replied you should watch it! It's really scary! 


Then I asked her, what will you do if there were Zombies and all were running after you! Then with a strong Russian accent she said, "then I will be a Zombie too!"I said in Russian, Chot? (what), Well there's no way to run so I'll let them bite me and become a Zombie too! I don't want to waste time running!


Then we laughed so hard!

What Happened Today!

Like most of the days, its boring, I don't have any sports, the only thing I do to keep myself busy is to walk, walk, walk. 


I don't go to the gym, I hate seeing great bodies! Bitter as I am!


If there's any capsule that transform you're body to Adonis like feature, I will buy it, but reality bites, no pain - no gain! I choose otherwise!


Since, my lovehandle's starting to accumulate, I need to do something about it, I am cutting my steamed rice intake, its our staple food and I need to substitute bread or potatoes for it, hmmm, about 3 weeks and I'll be in shape again. 


Is this a sign of aging, my feet starts to hurt when I'm walking too much! WAAAAAAA! I hope its not arthritis or rheumatism... I'm still young no!


Anyway, I started dieting today, so for dinner, I cooked Pasta in olive oil and hot & spicy tuna! Not bad! Actually, it taste great!

Well, my flight starts in two days, Calicut here I come! I hate when its end of the month, it means that I have only a few days left before all my savings is gone with the wind!


Superman save me! LOL!




By the way I was really disappointed with A Nightmare in Elm St., Robert Englund who played the role of Freddy Krueger for the last 2 decades is way better than, Jackie Earle Haley, who is an Academy Award nominee for Little Children.

The story is the same but this time, its boring and predictive.

Finally, I supposed to watch the film in Manila on my leave, but due to unavoidable circumstances I wasn't able to go to the Philippines. I waited a week for this film, I'm expecting cuts and cuts of brutal and gruesome scenes from Freddy. But hell I care... I will watch it today!

Prince Of Persia

Kudos to Jake Gyllenhaal!!! What more can I say but you need to watch the film... Prince Of Persia : The Sands Of Time...


Last year when I saw the official trailer, I thought, Jake, the sweet and sensitive guy from BBM, doing stunts and stuff? Nahh! But I was really wrong, He did prepare well for the part and delivered it until the last cut! 


Of course supported by the newcomer, lovely and sexy-brit accent, Gemma Arterton, Sir Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina, it was an edge of your seat movie...
